How a Korean eyelash lift works

A Korean lash lift is a semi-permanent treatment for your own eyelashes: nothing is glued on, and it is not a brow lift. Your natural lashes are softened, set over a small silicone shield in an upward curve and then fixed in that shape, lifted from the root. The result looks like your lashes on their best mascara day: curled, open and longer-looking.

Because it works with the lashes you already have, there is nothing to fall out and nothing to fill. The curl relaxes little by little as your lashes renew over the next 4 to 6 weeks, and then you simply book it again.

Lash lift or lash lift + tint?

The tint is a professional lash dye applied in the same appointment, right after the lift is set. It darkens every lash from root to tip, so lighter tips stop disappearing and your lashes look longer.

• Korean Lash Lift, $80, about 1 hour: best if your lashes are already dark from root to tip.
• Korean Lash Lift + Tint, $85, about 1h 15min: best for blonde, light brown or graying lashes, lighter tips, or weeks without mascara.

Is an eyelash lift right for you?

A great fit if:

• Your natural lashes have some length but grow straight or point down.
• You curl your lashes every morning and want to stop.
• You want a natural, low-maintenance look: one appointment, then nothing to do for weeks.
• You are curious about lashes but not ready for extensions and fills.

Better to wait, or choose something else, if:

• Your lashes are very short or sparse. A lift curls what you have; eyelash extensions add length and fullness.
• You are wearing extensions right now: they need to come off first.
• Your eyes are irritated or infected, or you had eye surgery recently.
• You have reacted to lash or brow products before, or you are pregnant: tell us before booking and check with your doctor.

Your appointment, step by step

1. A quick look at your lashes and a chat about how much lift you want.
2. Your lashes are cleansed, a soft pad protects the lower lashes and a silicone shield sits on your lid.
3. The lifting and setting solutions go on, timed to the thickness of your lashes.
4. The tint, if you booked it, then a conditioning step and a final brush.

You rest with your eyes closed the whole time. Come without eye makeup, and if you wear contact lenses, bring your glasses.

Aftercare

• First 24 hours: keep your lashes dry and mascara-free. No steam, sauna, swimming or rubbing your eyes.
• After that, your routine goes back to normal. Skip waterproof mascara, which is hard to remove without rubbing.
• Brush your lashes upward with a clean spoolie in the morning.
• Book your next lift in 4–6 weeks, once the curl has relaxed.
